Department
of Tourism XII's Regional Director Nelly Nita Dillera joined the Dibu Kariton
outreach activity in sitio Kule, Salacafe today in which she was received with
advance birthday greetings.
Dillera, who will celebrate
her natal day on Wednesday, spared time to get to the community to see for
herself the Guests Receiving Center, a facility built by the community people
for the tourists that shall visit Holon enroute the trail from Kule.
The regional director was
handed by the local folks of a token made from
indigenous materials. In turn, she also gave several sports equipment for the
pupils of Salacafe Elementary School - Kule Extension.
In
her message, Dillera lauded the enthusiasm of the local government of Tboli in
carrying out the development to the communities, including the dynamism it
shows on tourism initiatives which she believes will help them in the
department to boost the tourism industry in the area.
